Locally Made Reusable Pads
We collaborated with @kdiikenya to acquire locally produced reusable pads for our Dignity Kits. These KDII pads are manufactured in Turkana County at the Kakuma Refugee Camp. Kakuma is Swahili for “nowhere” and is one of the world’s largest refugee camps, supporting children and families from many countries, including South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Uganda, and Rwanda. Workshopping Together

Educating and Mentoring
Vanice Nyanga Ekaru helps lead a training against gender-based violence (GBV) in Lokitaung, where she was able to help girls who face the same challenges she once did. A New Day

Help Getting There
Lucy is a remarkably bright student from Lodwar who recently earned a full scholarship for St. Angela Mumias Secondary Vocational School For Deaf Girls! However, she was still lacking the funds to travel and for the essential items she would need to attend. We were able to supply a grant for her to travel there with a companion, as well as the necessary supplies she’d need for her adventure at her new school and home away from home. Ringing in the New Year
Ateker Merciful Heart, and in collaboration with local advocacy organizations, distributed food to elderly members of the community and ensured their well-being and happiness, during the New Year.
