We collaborated with @kdiikenya to acquire locally produced reusable pads for our Dignity Kits. These KDII pads are manufactured in Turkana County at the Kakuma Refugee Camp.

Kakuma is Swahili for “nowhere” and is one of the world’s largest refugee camps, supporting children and families from many countries, including South Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Uganda, and Rwanda.

KDII aids refugees in the camp by offering crucial services and nurturing a sense of community and hope. The Sustainable Menstrual Health Management initiative by KDII aims to guarantee that all women and girls have access to safe, hygienic products and education.
