My Journey: From Survivor to Advocate

I was born and raised in Lokitaung, a place of deep tradition and resilience. At just ten years old, I faced the reality of early marriage — a path that would have ended my childhood far too soon. But I found the strength to escape, to choose a different future.

That choice changed everything.

Today, I proudly serve in the Child Care and Protection Office in Lokitaung, dedicating my life to helping girls who face the same challenges I once did. I work to ensure that every girl has the right to grow, to learn, and to dream — free from the chains of child marriage and abuse.

My story is not just my own. It belongs to every girl who dares to hope, every child who deserves a voice, and every community that believes in change.
